
2025 Duke True Spotlight: Shae Wozniak

Duke field hockey head coach Pam Bustin and the program are excited to welcome a total of eight additions to the Blue Devil program in 2025. The Blue Devils will profile each of the newest Duke True members over the next two weeks. The final member alphabetically of the 2025 class is Conestoga High School product Shae Wozniak.
Hailing from Connecticut, Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania and England and The Netherlands, this group features a diverse set of talents and field hockey experiences. While varying in position, one thing is for sure, Duke field hockey got better on and off the turf with the addition of this group of outstanding young players.

The 2024 Pennsylvania and National Player of the Year will bring her speed, tenacity, and high-level experience to our roster. Her experiences with Conestoga High School and Mainline Mayhem Field Hockey Club, and most recently our U.S. junior teams, have introduced her to the pace of international play she will also face at the Division I collegiate level where she will have an immediate impact. Learning More About Shae
A two-time NFHCA First-Team All-American, Shae arrives in Durham after a decorated career at Conestoga High School and with Mayhem Field Hockey Club. Shae finished her scholastic career with an incredible 139 goals and 60 assists, while leading Conestoga to its first PIAA State Championship title as a senior. Shae shined from day one at Conestoga, pushing the team to the PIAA District One crown and earning All-Area Chester County first team and all-state second team recognition.
She garnered all-state first team honors as a sophomore and nabbed her first NFHCA All-Region award. A top-10 player in the Max Field Hockey Class of 2025 rankings since 2022, Shae picked up All-America recognition from both the NFHCA and Max Field Hockey here final two campaigns.
In club hockey with Mayhem, she took part in the past three National Club Championships and earned bronze in 2023. Shae has been a mainstay within USA Field Hockey, traveling with the U16 squad to a variety of international competitions. She most recently suited up with the U18 team in the 4-Nations Tournament in Tonbridge, England.
