Duke field hockey head coach Pam Bustin and the program are excited to welcome a talented group of newcomers to the Blue Devil program in 2026. The Blue Devils are set to highlight each of the newest Duke True members over the next two weeks. Up next is Catherine Rosser, a goalie from Houston, Texas.
Headed to Durham by way of North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and The Netherlands, this group features a unique set of talents and field hockey experiences. While varying in position, one thing is certain - Duke field hockey got better on and off the turf with the addition of this outstanding young cohert.

Learning More About Catherine
A three-year letterwinner in field hockey at the Kinkaid School under head coach Jackie Ciconte, Catherine helped lead the Falcons to the Southwest Preparatory Conference 4A title as a senior and earned All-Southwest Preparatory Conference honors. Ranked a top-50 player in the Max Field Hockey Class of 2026, the midfielder was also tabbed an NFHCA and Max Field Hockey All-America Second Team pick, while being a four-time academic honor roll selection.
Catherine has experience on the national state with USA Field Hockey, earning a spot on the U-18 National Team in both 2025 and 2026 and at the USA Field Hockey Junior National Team Selection Camp from 2022-26. She has also represented the program at the AAU U-16 Junior Olympic Games in 2022 and 2023, multiple Junior NEXUS National Championship event and the Senior NEXUS National Championship in 2026.
At the club level, Catherine competed for Texas Pride, helping the club to multiple top-three finishes at the National Club Championship, National Club Indoor Tournament and Regional Club Championship.
