How It Happened

• Rader then had a free kick from 21 yards in the 26th minute that went high.
• After peppering the Duke goal with seven shots through the first 23 minutes, the Seminoles were able to get on the board in the 30th minute. Jordynn Dudley stole the ball from a Duke defender and found an open Kaitlyn Zipay for the FSU goal to go ahead, 1-0.

Quotes
• "It is a strange feeling right now because there were a lot of really good things from us. We created a lot of really good opportunities. I am proud of how we fought. We moved people around. We had four starters out of the game, but we were toe-to-toe with them for a long time. The two things that were different were that we created opportunities in the first half and we didn't finish ours. If we would have finished one or two of ours early, it would have been a completely different game. Give them credit. They didn't have many more opportunities than us, but they finished everything." – Duke head coach
Robbie Church
