Tickets to Duke Athletics events are digital and accessed through your mobile device for the safest and most convenient experience. All mobile tickets must be downloaded to a mobile device to gain entry. If you choose to receive hard copy tickets and have them in your possession, those tickets will still allow you to enter the stadium.
Frequently Asked Questions
Make sure to download your ticket(s) before arriving at the stadium as reception may not be the best around campus on game day.
Check the box next to the ticket(s) you are returning.
Tap the blue NEXT button at the bottom.
Tap the blue Yes, Process Return button at the bottom.
Duke Athletics utilizes NFC “Tap-to-Enter” tickets for all game tickets. You will not have a barcode (QR code), you will just tap your ticket at entry. Please note, screen shots DO NOT work with NFC tickets and tickets must be downloaded to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in order to scan. Parking passes will still utilize a barcode (QR code) to scan into lots.
You’ll need to transfer a ticket to each member of your party. This allows you and your guest(s) to arrive at the venue at your convenience. Once the ticket transfer offer has been sent, they will receive an email instructing them to accept the ticket and add it to their digital wallet.
*NEW* Apple Account Binding
What's Changing
Apple users, your mobile tickets are getting more secure. Here's what you need to know. Your mobile tickets now include account binding – a security feature that links your tickets to your Apple Account. This change prevents unauthorized ticket sharing and protects against fraud while keeping the same easy entry experience you're used to.
What You Need to Know
Your Duke Ticket account will now be permanently bound to your Apple account.
Each person who downloads a ticket to their device must have their own Duke Ticket account.
ALWAYS use the official ticket transfer feature in your Duke Ticket account.
NEVER share your Duke Ticket login with anyone not using your Apple device or forward a "download to wallet" email as a way of sharing tickets with others.
Choose your primary Apple Device Carefully:
The first person to add a single event ticket from your Duke Athletic Ticket Office account to Apple Wallet permanently binds that account to their Apple Account. All future tickets from that account must either go to the same Apple Wallet or be officially transferred.
One-Time Setup:
When you add your first mobile ticket to Apple Wallet, Apple will ask you to verify your Apple Account using Face ID, Touch ID, or password. This one-time step process creates a secure connection between your Duke Ticket account and your Apple Account.
You MUST use the transfer feature on the My Account page in your Duke Ticket Account.
You can no longer use the following methods to share tickets:
Forward “Add to Wallet’ emails with ticket links.
Share login information to use multiple devices.
Screenshotting.
These will NOT work and result in disabled passes. Everyone who needs a ticket on their Apple device needs to set up a Duke Athletic ticketing account. If they already have an account, they simply accept the transfer and add ticket(s) to their own Apple Wallet.
Duos:
Account Primary iPhone purchases and adds the first ticket to their Apple Wallet
Transfer ticket to partner if not entering the event together
Do NOT share logins or email links
Families/Groups:
Designate one tech-savvy member as the Primary Account iPhone.
The Primary Account iPhone adds the first ticket to their Apple Wallet.
The Primary Account transfers tickets to anyone who will enter the event separately via My Account in their Duke Ticket account.
Each member who wants a ticket on their own device must have their own Duke Ticket account to accept transfer tickets.
Upon adding a pass to your Apple Wallet, you will see one of 3 messages under your pass:
Ready to Scan: Look for "Hold Near Reader" under your pass in Apple Wallet – this means your ticket is properly linked and ready to use.
Activating: This status will only appear shortly after adding the pass to your wallet. This usually indicates an issue.
Disabled: Ticket is bound to an account with a different Apple ID than the Apple Wallet it was attempted to be added to – this means your ticket is not properly added and will NOT scan.
ALL-IN-1 Pass
The ALL-IN-1 pass simplifies the digital wallet experience for season ticket holders. It consolidates your entire sports season tickets and parking into a single, smart pass. Here’s how it works:
Add each ALL-IN-1 pass to your digital wallet – you only need to do this once.
ALL-IN-1 passes automatically update to the next event in your season.
The ALL-IN-1 pass will update if tickets or parking are transferred or become unavailable.
You can still transfer and manage eligible tickets from My Account.
