Prior to game day, please feel free to reach out to our disabilities coordinators at (919) 668-6213 to help make arrangements for your visit or if you have any special needs, questions or concerns regarding our accessibility and accommodations.
It is strictly prohibited to bring alcohol into Duke Softball Stadium. Individuals violating this policy are subject to ejection from the facility.
There are no ATMs on-site at Duke Softball Stadium. Nearby options include a Wells Fargo ATM located on Ninth Street and an ATM at the Family Fare gas station directly across the street from the stadium.
Purses, small bags, strollers, and backpacks are permitted into Duke Softball Stadium. Duffel bags and large bags greater than 14” x 14” x 8” are not permitted (reasonable exceptions may be medical or childcare reasons). All bags and personal items are subject to search by Event Staff upon entry.
All bags will be inspected and searched prior to entering the stadium. Duke University reserves the right to deny anyone or anything from entering the stadium. Any such items should be returned to your vehicle and/or discarded. There is no place to check or store prohibited items at the stadium.
For everyone’s safety, unattended bags or items are not permitted outside Duke Softball Stadium. Any unattended items found will be handled at the discretion of stadium officials, which may include disposal. Duke University and Duke Athletics are not responsible for any loss of unattended items. Duke University reserves the right to deny entry to any item or individual as deemed necessary. Prohibited items must be returned to your vehicle or discarded before entry.
Banners and signs are permitted inside Duke Softball Stadium. However, Duke reserves the right to prohibit or require the cessation of any display of a banner or sign that obstructs the view of other guests, obscures stadium signage, can be considered an advertisement, or is determined to be obscene, vulgar, indecent, inappropriate or derogatory.
Hand-held still cameras are welcome for personal use. However, cameras with lenses longer than four (4) inches are not allowed inside the venue. Video cameras may be used during pre-game activities but are strictly prohibited from filming during the game.
In case of emergency, call Duke Police at (919) 684-2444, contact any Duke Athletics game day staff or call 9-1-1 to reach Durham Police.
If you notice unusual, suspicious or concerning activity, report it to the nearest police officer or Event Staff member immediately.
Monitor the weather before the game and take precautions to protect yourself and your group in extreme heat or severe weather. In the event of inclement weather during the game, be prepared to evacuate the stadium and return to your car if necessary.
All gates to Duke Softball Stadium will open 60 minutes prior to the start of the game. The accessible entrance to Duke Softball Stadium is located at the right field gate off of Brodie Gym Drive. Two (2) additional stairwell entrances are available behind home plate and on the 3rd base line.

Guests may leave and re-enter Duke Softball Stadium at any time with a valid ticket.
Outside food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, are not permitted inside Duke Softball Stadium. Please throw away any trash and recycling in the appropriate receptacles.
Concessions stands, operated by Blue Devil Concessions, will be available for all regional games at Duke Softball Stadium. Stands are located on the stadium concourse on the 1st base line and in the right field grass near the right field gate entrance. Concessions will now have to be bought through a cashless method.
Duke Athletics expects all guests to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times before, during, and after the competition. We expect all fans to treat other fans, players, coaches, and officials with courtesy. Please join us in creating a fun, safe, family atmosphere at Duke Softball Stadium by not:
Guests who observe inappropriate behavior should report it to game day staff. Violators are subject to ejection and possible arrest.

If any article is lost or found in the stadium, please inquire about or report the item to the nearest Event Staff member. All lost and found items not picked up prior to the end of the game will be available for pick-up the next business day following home games by contacting the Duke Facilities and Game Operations office at 919-668-5658 or emailing duaa-gameops@duke.edu.
Unclaimed lost and found items will be retained for thirty (30) days following the event. After that time, any unclaimed items will be discarded.
The press box at Duke Softball Stadium is reserved for staff, media and team videographers only. Media members must contact the Duke Athletics Communications at least two (2) days before game day to reserve a space.
Be sure to show your NCAA Pride by purchasing officially-licensed NCAA souvenirs at the Merchandise stand located on the 3rd base side of the concourse. The NCAA Merchandise stand opens when gates open to Duke Softball Stadium one (1) hour prior to first pitch. Merchandise will now have to be bought through a cashless method. The Johnson Family Team Store is located on West Campus in the Scott Family Athletics Performance Center (adjacent to Cameron Indoor Stadium). Store hours can be found at dukestores.duke.edu.

Game day parking is available only in the designated university parking lots listed below. Please do not park in the Whole Foods or Shops at Erwin Mill parking lot as shopping centers will ticket & tow at the owner’s expense. There is no street parking in the neighborhood across the street from Duke Softball Stadium.
Free parking is available at the 705 Broad St Lot and R1 Lot on Hillsborough Road (GPS Address: 2180 Hillsborough Road). The R1 Lot is an 8-minute walk to Duke Softball Stadium – sidewalks and crosswalks are available along the designated game day pedestrian route along Hillsborough Road, West Markham Ave and Campus Drive.
Is available in the designated spaces in the Bivins Lot, located above the Duke Softball Stadium on Brodie Gym Drive next to the Bivins Building. The parking lot is located on the right after turning on Brodie Gym Drive.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up: an accessible drop-off and pick-up point for guests with disabilities is available in the Bivins Lot, located above the Duke Softball Stadium on Brodie Gym Drive next to the Bivins Building.
Tailgating is available in the grass areas around Duke Softball Stadium. No vehicles may be parked in this area at any time. Tailgating is permitted in the R1 Lot – guests must clean up and properly dispose of all trash/recycling upon departure.
Duke University assumes no responsibility for loss through fire, theft, collision or other damages to vehicles or contents. Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Please lock your vehicle.

Duke University reserves the right to deny anyone or anything from entering the stadium. Any prohibited items should be returned to your vehicle or discarded. All guests and items are subject to search before entering the stadium.
For the safety of all attendees, bags and items are not permitted to be left unattended outside Duke Softball Stadium. Unattended items will be handled as deemed appropriate by stadium officials, including possible disposal. Duke University and Duke Athletics are not responsible for the loss of any unattended items.
Restrooms at Duke Softball Stadium will open with stadium gates 60 minutes prior to the start of the game. Men’s and Women’s accessible restrooms are located adjacent to the Duke Softball Stadium on the Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium concourse. An accessible gender neutral family restroom is available on the stadium concourse behind the press box – please give guests with disabilities in accessible seating areas priority access to this restroom. An additional gender neutral accessible family restroom is available on ground level behind the grandstand behind home plate.
Backstop netting behind home plate extends to the end of both the home and visiting dugouts. Even with the netting in place, guests should be alert and aware of their surroundings at all times during warm-ups and the game. Bats and balls may enter the grandstand or lawn seating areas at any time.
All seating within the stadium is general admission seating. Grandstand seating is reserved for guests that have bought grandstand seating tickets. The grandstand seating is located behind home plate of the Duke Softball Stadium. Lawn seating areas are available along the 1st base line and outfield fenced in grass.
For the NCAA Softball Championship, rows on the 1st and 3rd base side of the grandstand are reserved for members of the participating team’s pass list.
Accessible seating is available at the top of the grandstand on the 1st and 3rd base lines. Space is provided for assistive devices.
Folding beach chairs and lawn chairs will be permitted inside the stadium for lawn seating in the outfield of Duke Softball Stadium.
Starting July 1, 2020 – Duke University became a Tobacco-Free Campus, including game days at Duke Softball Stadium. The policy prohibits the use of all tobacco-based products, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, chewing tobacco, snuff, and electronic smoking devices (including e-cigarettes, vaping products, and IQOS). Streaming for select games is now available through ESPN/ACC Network via the WatchESPN platform. Streaming any game from a mobile device to any social media websites is strictly prohibited.
Strollers are allowed inside Duke Softball Stadium. Please park strollers out of the path of travel. Event Staff may request that a stroller be moved to ensure clear pathways.
All Duke home events at Duke Softball Stadium are ticketed events. All tickets will be scanned upon entry at the stadium gates.
Umbrellas are permitted inside Duke Softball Stadium. For the courtesy and safety of all guests, please use caution when raising umbrellas in the stands and avoid obstructing the view of other guests or staff.
