Barket Ranked as High as No. 18 Nationally

DURHAM, N.C. — Duke wrestling redshirt junior Connor Barket has been listed in three different rankings as the Blue Devils get set to open the 2025-26 season this weekend.

Barket, a native of West Lafayette, Ind., is coming off a season where he advanced to the NCAA Championship for the first time in his collegiate career. He collected a 24-12 ledger and was ranked as high as No. 17 nationally a season ago. Barket posted a 12-5 dual match ledger and totaled four wins against ranked opponents.

In the preseason, Barket is ranked No. 18 by FloWrestling, No. 21 by Intermat and No. 27 by WrestleStat in the Heavyweight listing.

Duke also featured redshirt sophomore Aidan Wallace ranked No. 26 in the 165-weight class, but Wallace has decided to open the season wrestling at 174 pounds.

The Blue Devils will open the 2025-26 slate Saturday, Nov. 1 as the Blue Devils host Sacred Heart in Cameron Indoor Stadium at 11 a.m. Admission is free.
