DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men's basketball team tipped off its 2025-26 season with the annual Countdown to Craziness on Friday night inside Cameron Indoor Stadium, highlighted by the Blue-White scrimmage.

Team Blue shot better than 50 percent from 3-point range and held a 15-8 advantage on the boards to claim a 34-24 victory.

Both squads started hot, connecting on their first five shots of the game, including three from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils combined to hit 12-of-23 (52.2%) from long distance, led by Team Blue's 9-of-16 (56.3%) showing.

Sophomore
Isaiah Evans paced Team Blue with a game-high nine points on three 3-pointers, adding a steal and a blocked shot.
Nikolas Khamenia and
Patrick Ngongba II each chipped in eight points, with Ngongba contributing four rebounds, three assists and two rejections. Freshman
Sebastian Wilkins scored six points, while junior
Caleb Foster posted three points, four rebounds, a game-high four assists and a block.

Team Blue shot 12-of-22 (54.5%) from the field overall.

Sophomore
Darren Harris and freshman
Cameron Boozer led Team White with eight points apiece.
Cayden Boozer and
Ifeanyi Ufochukwu added three points each, while
Dame Sarr finished with two points, two steals and a team-high three rebounds.

Team White shot 8-of-19 (42.1%) from the floor, including 3-of-7 (42.9%) from deep.

The scrimmage was played in a single 12-minute segment. At the four-minute media timeout, the game clock was turned off and the Elam Ending was implemented, with eight points added to the leading team's score to establish a target score. The first team to reach that score was declared the winner.
