DURHAM, N.C. – For the second week in a row, Duke women's soccer forward
Mia Minestrella received TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week recognition, after helping lead the Blue Devils to a pair of NCAA Tournament victories.
Minestrella, a native of Redondo Beach, California, scored two goals in victories over UCF (1-0) and Kansas (2-0) to send the Blue Devils into the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament. Both goals were game-winners for Duke.
In three NCAA contests in 2025, Minestrella has scored five goals, which is tied for the most in the tournament with Seven Castain of TCU. Minestrella's three game-winning goals is an individual best as well.
Minestrella has now scored nine NCAA Tournament goals over the last two years in seven contests, including four game-winners.
Duke will host fourth-seeded Washington Friday, Nov. 28 at 4 p.m., on Freeman Field at Koskinen Stadium for a chance to advance to the NCAA College Cup.
