DURHAM, N.C. – For the fourth straight season, former Duke standout Jayson Tatum has earned All-NBA First Team honors, the league announced on Friday night.Â
Tatum – after becoming the first player in program history to earn multiple All-NBA First Team nods in 2023 – is now the only former Duke player with four consecutive First Team selections. With this latest recognition, Tatum extends the Blue Devils' streak of at least one All-NBA selection to seven straight years – the longest active collegiate streak nationally.
This marks Tatum's fifth career All-NBA honor, including his third-team selection in 2020 and First Team picks in 2022, 2023, 2024, and now 2025. He and Grant Hill remain the only former Blue Devils to earn First Team status, with Tatum now standing alone in total selections.
During his eighth NBA regular season, Tatum averaged 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and a career-high 6.0 assists per game, while also contributing 1.1 steals and 0.5 blocks. He continued to serve as the cornerstone of the Boston Celtics, who finished the season with a 61-21 record and advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals of the NBA Playoffs.
Tatum received first-team votes on all 100 ballots, for a total of 500 points in the final All-NBA tally. He was joined on the 2025 First Team by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic and Donovan Mitchell.
