DURHAM, N.C. – Six home dates, eight contests against 2025 bowl game or College Football Playoff participants and three tilts versus programs that finished ranked in the top 25 a season ago highlight the 2026 Duke football schedule released Monday evening by the ACC office.
The Blue Devils begin the campaign hosting Tulane on Saturday, September 5 at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium before traveling to Big Ten foe Illinois on September 12. The Green Wave made a College Football Playoff appearance after capturing the American Conference championship and ended the 2025 season ranked No. 18 in the final Associated Press (AP) poll.
Duke returns home for two games to close September, hosting Stanford to begin ACC play on September 19 and William & Mary on September 26.
The Blue Devils have an open date on October 3 and travel to Georgia Tech on October 10. Duke welcomes rival North Carolina to Durham on October 17 before traveling to Virginia for an ACC Championship Game rematch on October 24. The Cavaliers checked in at No. 16 in the final AP poll of the 2025 campaign. The Blue Devils close October by hosting Boston College on the 31st.Â
Four November contests begin with back-to-back road games at NC State (Saturday, November 7) and Miami (Saturday, November 14). The Hurricanes finished No. 2 to end 2025 after their national championship game appearance.Â
Duke hosts Clemson on November 21 before capping the regular season at Wake Forest on November 28.
