DURHAM, N.C. – Duke defensive end Vincent Anthony Jr. and cornerback Chandler Rivers, who have accepted invitations to the Panini Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, will begin practices for the event on Tuesday. This year's game will kick off Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Hancock Whitney Stadium with workouts taking place in the stadium on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
NFL Network will provide live coverage of Senior Bowl practices at 2:30 and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Additionally, The Insiders airs live from the Senior Bowl on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m., along with special editions at 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. For the game, play-by-play announcer Rhett Lewis will be joined in the broadcast booth by analysts Daniel Jeremiah and Charles Davis, with Tom Pelissero reporting from the field. On Saturday, NFL GameDay Kickoff airs at 2 p.m. with Mike Yam and David Carr, and NFL GameDay Final airs at 5:30 p.m. ET following the game.
Anthony Jr. and Rivers are the 30th and 31st Blue Devils to earn an invitation to the Senior Bowl and join Jeremy Cash (2015), Ross Martin (2015), Daniel Jones (2019), Noah Gray (2020) and DeWayne Carter (2023) as invitees in the past 10 years. Jones was named the games' MVP after completing 8-of-11 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in addition to a rushing score in helping the North squad to a 34-24 victory against the South.
Anthony Jr., a 6-6, 260-pound senior from Durham who earned All-ACC honors, completed his season at Duke with 33 tackles, 13.0 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, four quarterback pressures, two pass breakups and one caused fumble. Against No. 11 Illinois, he logged a career-high 3.0 sacks, tied for the fourth most in a game in program history and tied with Phillip Alexander (3.0; No. 6 Florida State; Sept. 27, 2003) for the most by a Blue Devil against a ranked opponent. Anthony Jr.'s 7.5 sacks in 2025 tied for the eight most in a year in program history while he ended his career with 15.0 in his career, good for the sixth most as a Blue Devil.Â
Rivers, a 5-10, 185-pound senior from Beaumont, Texas, was an All-America selection in 2024 and earned All-ACC honors in each of the last two years. He carded 59 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, one caused fumble, one quarterback pressure and eight pass breakups this fall. Rivers finished with the eighth-most pass breakups in Duke history with 28.
