DURHAM, N.C. – Duke head football coach Manny Diaz announced Wednesday that defensive tackle Owen Wafle has signed a financial aid agreement to attend the institution and join the Blue Devil gridiron program.
Wafle played in nine games for Penn State in 2025 after not appearing in any contests at Michigan in the fall of 2024.
With Penn State this past fall, Wafle carded four tackles. He registered one stop each versus Villanova, Iowa, Rutgers and Clemson in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl victory.
Wafle, 6-2, 293-pound Middletown, New Jersey, native, will have three seasons of eligibility remaining beginning with the 2026 campaign.
