DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's lacrosse junior attacker Bella Goodwin was named to the 2026 Tewaaraton Watch List, as announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation Tuesday evening.
The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse players in the United States. Selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation.
Duke has featured players on the Tewaaraton Award watch list in 24 of the last 25 years since its inception in 2001. Last year, Callie Hem and Carly Bernstein were named to the watch list.
Goodwin, a native of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, had a breakout campaign in 2025. She finished second on the team in goals (53), third in assists (18) and third in points (71), while leading Duke in free-position goals (19) and ranking second on the team with three game-winning goals. Goodwin is featured multiple times in the Duke record book, ranking 41st in career points (92), 40th in career goals (66) and tied for 39th in career assists (26).
In the Blue Devils' season-opening win at High Point, Goodwin scored two goals and dished out an assist for three points. She tallied her two goals on six shots for a .333 shooting percentage. Defensively, she picked up two ground balls and caused two turnovers.
Duke opens conference play Thursday, traveling to Pittsburgh Feb. 12 for a 2 p.m., matchup.
