Hasley Garners Preseason All-ACC Nod

DURHAM, N.C. - Preseason accolades continue to be raked in by Duke tight end Jeremiah Hasley, who was selected to the preseason All-ACC team according to an announcement by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

Hasley is a 2026 preseason First Team All-ACC selection by Phil Steele and earned a place on Athlon's second team. Duke's returning starting tight end, Hasley capped 2025 with an Honorable Mention All-ACC nod. He is a two-time Academic All-ACC pick (2023-25) as well as a 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree. Heading into this fall, the Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, product was tabbed by Pro Football Focus as the No. 6 returning tight end nationally. Hasley also owns the second-highest tight end impact score (82.5) by Pro Fooftball & Sports Network among returners nationally.

In 32 career games (21 starts), Hasley has recorded 48 receptions for 517 yards (10.77) with eight touchdowns. He owns two or more receptions in 11 games, four or more in five contests and a career-high seven at North Carolina in 2025. He has tallied 30 or more receiving yards in six contests and 50 or more in four with a career-high 85 at North Carolina in 2025. Halsey caught a career-high two TD passes against Virginia in the 2025 ACC Championship Game and enters 2026 with eight career touchdown catches, four shy of the Duke record by a tight end.

Hasley, who was selected as Duke's 2025 most valuable offensive player, finished last fall with 40 receptions for 454 yards (11.35) and six TDs. In only ACC games, he stood third on the team in receiving yards (299) and tied for fourth in receptions (23). Within the league, Hasley ranked tied for sixth in touchdown receptions and second among tight ends, trailing only NC State's Justin Joly (7). Nationally among tight ends, he ranked tied for fifth in receiving TDs. On fire near the end of the season, Hasley caught 30 passes for 372 yards and six scores in the final seven contests. Of the six TDs in that stretch, five gave Duke a lead either by breaking a tie or pushing the Blue Devils ahead. Hasley helped Duke to its first win at Clemson since 1980 with a season-long 56 yard grab and finished with three catches for 83 yards. In ACC Championship Game and Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl victories, he combined for nine receptions for 69 yards and three TDs.

Duke's 2026 season opener is slated for Saturday, September 5 when it welcomes Tulane to Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on ACC Network.
