Duke Paces League with 654 on ACC Academic Honor Roll

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Duke paced the ACC with 654 student-athletes earning a place on the 2025-26 ACC Academic Honor Roll released Friday by the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The ACC Academic Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. The conference has recognized at least 7,000 student-athletes the last two years. It is the seventh consecutive year in which at least 5,500 student-athletes have achieved ACC Academic Honor Roll status.
More than 88 percent of Duke's enrolled student-athletes were named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll as the Blue Devils paced the league. Stanford placed 620 on the list, followed by California (602), Virginia (562), North Carolina (534), Boston College (491), Notre Dame (460) and Louisville (441), which each had more than 400 student-athletes earn recognition.
Twelve Blue Devils claimed the distinction for a fifth time: Jada Baker (softball), Michael Bennett (track & field), David Boisvert (baseball), Issy Carey (field hockey), Curtis Cooper (football), Max Forte (track & field), Katie Hamilton (cross country/track & field), Terry Moore (football), Justin Pickett (football), Meredith Sims (track & field), Samantha Wallenstrom (track & field) and Beck Wittstadt (track & field). In addition, football linebacker Nick Morris Jr. was honored for the sixth time.
