Catching Up with Duke Graduate Carina Lageyre

DURHAM, N.C.— The Blue Devil women's soccer team recently traveled to Los Angeles, California, to open the season. During the trip, the team was able to spend some quality time with recent Blue Devil graduate Carina Lageyre, who currently plays for Angel City FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
Lageyre, one of the top midfielders in collegiate soccer over the last three years, is now showcasing her talent on the NWSL stage and has started each of Angel City's last 11 matches.
During the trip, the Blue Devils trained at the Angel City FC practice facility and had the opportunity to reconnect with Lageyre, spending time with their former teammate and coach while welcoming Duke to her home city.
