2019-20: Starter at 174 pounds … NCAA qualifier … Finished the season ranked in both the final NCAA Coaches’ Poll and RPI rating, coming in at 26th and 30th, respectively … Compiled a 21-12 overall record … Went 11-2 in tournament action and 9-8 in dual matches … Posted a 3-2 mark in ACC action … Garnered 32 of Duke's 79 dual points and held a 3-2 record against ranked opponents … Totaled two tech falls on the year against Jack Bond (Old Dominion) and Connor Bourne (American) … Finished first at the Battle at the Citadel and Keystone Classic, and fifth at the Mountaineer Invitational … Earned ACC victories against Clay Lautt of No. 8 North Carolina, Victor Marcelli of Virginia, and Tyler Barnes of No. 3 NC State … Also defeated Marcelli in his opening match at the ACC Championships … NWCA Scholar All-America … All-ACC Academic Team … ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Instrumental in leading South Kitsap to the 2018 state title ... Won the 170-pound individual state crown and finished with a 35-1 overall record his senior campaign ... Started his high school wrestling career at 106 pounds and took seventh ... Was third as as sophomore at the state championships at 120 pounds and was runner-up in 2017 in the 138-pound division ... Also led South Kitsap to the Class 4A tournament at Mat Classic crown and was named the Kitsap Sun's 2018 Wrestler of the Year ... Also picked as the 2018 Port Orchard Independent Male Athlete of the Year ... Captured six first-place honors during the 2017-18 season, including winning the 2017 Hammerhead Invitational.
