Game Day Information

Credentials

Media seating at Cameron Indoor Stadium is located courtside, opposite the team benches on press row.
Photography positions are located on each baseline.
Radio and TV broadcast locations are located off the court in the Crow's Nest, above Sections 6 and 7.
Please make all requests at GoDuke.com/MBBCredentials.
Due to limited media seating and photo locations available, priority is given to daily newspapers, major magazines and electronic media in the geographic areas of the competing teams.
Internet sites, fan sites, blogs and podcasts, other than the official websites of the two participating teams, requesting credentials should contact the Communications office with any questions regarding the policy.
Credentials will be issued either on a season-long or game-by-game basis. Requests for individual games must be made at least two weeks in advance of the game.
Approved game-by-game credentials can be claimed on the day of the game at Media Will Call. Credentials will not be mailed.
Duke reserves the right to refuse any credential request deemed not to be in the best interest of the University.
All backpacks, briefcases, computer bags and photo equipment are subject to search.

Parking

Media parking is located in the Science Drive Garage (3100 Cameron Blvd.), which is a short walk to Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The garage is located at the corner of Cameron Boulevard and Science Drive.
Media approved for a credential will be sent a digital parking pass in advance of the game via email.

Media Will Call / Media Entrance

Media entrances are located on the north side (Krzyzewskiville/Morton Plaza) and south side (Tribull Plaza) of Cameron Indoor Stadium.
All media should enter the building at the media entrances.
Media Will Call is located at the Duke Athletic Ticket Office on the north side of the Scott Family Athletics Performance Center.
Media Will Call opens two hours prior to the scheduled tip-off time.

Bill Brill Media Work Room

Named for 1952 Duke graduate and longtime sports editor of the Roanoke Times, the Bill Brill Media Room serves as the media work room, photo work area and postgame press conference location.
Brill was inducted to the U.S. Basketball Writers Hall of Fame and received the NCAA's Jake Wade Award for his lifetime contributions to intercollegiate athletics.
He was inducted to the Duke Athletics Hall of Fame in 1996.
Only credentialed media and staff are permitted access to the room.
The room is equipped with high-speed wireless internet and power.
Complimentary beverages are available in the room and media will be provided a concessions voucher for food.

Interviews & Postgame

Postgame Media Availability

Each team's head coach will address the media postgame in the Bill Brill Media Room.
In most cases, the visiting team coach will go first, followed by Duke head coach Jon Scheyer.
On the road, Coach Scheyer's postgame press conference will occur in that arena's postgame interview area.
For home games, the Duke locker room will be open to working media after a cooling-off period.
At least one full-time Communications staff member from Duke will be present at all times to assist with postgame player interviews.
Still photography is not permitted in the Duke locker room unless approved in advance.

Non-Gameday Interviews

All interviews with Duke basketball coaches and student-athletes must be arranged through the Communications office.
Please contact Kyle Serba or Henry Skutt, preferably via email at kyle.serba@duke.edu or henry.skutt@duke.edu.
Interview requests must be made at least two days in advance.
There will be no interviews on the day of a game.
For requests of Coach Scheyer, media are encouraged to utilize the ACC's weekly teleconference or Duke's in-season availabilities.
Cell phone numbers for student-athletes will not be provided and they have been instructed not to accept calls from media without prior notice from the Communications office.
Please do not contact a student-athlete or coach without scheduling the interview through the Communications office.
Media should also refrain from contacting student-athletes for interviews via social media platforms.

Broadcast & Scouting

Radio Broadcast Information

The radio broadcast booths are located on the east side of the stadium in the Crow's Nest.
Access to the positions is through Section 7 off the upper concourse.
Hard-wired internet is accessible to the visiting radio network.
The need for additional lines must be ordered directly from Director of Game Operations Alli Ronald at alli.ronald@duke.edu.
Space is guaranteed for only one broadcast crew from a visiting school.
Student stations will generally not be permitted to broadcast due to space limitations.
Requests for additional broadcast crews need to be made through the visiting SID office.

NBA Scouts

NBA scouts may request tickets to Duke home basketball games.
Requests for tickets should be made in advance via email on team letterhead and directed to Elinor Hurt in the Duke Athletic Ticket Office at elinor.hurt@duke.edu.
Scouts will be charged for the tickets.
Since seating is very limited in Cameron Indoor Stadium, these requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets will be left at Media Will Call.
Scouts will not be issued media credentials.

ACC Teleconference

The ACC head basketball coaches will be featured with virtual weekly press conferences on Mondays in January through the end of the regular season.
Coaches who have a Monday night game will not take part in that day's teleconference.
The ACC office will distribute each week's order of coaches prior to each conference.
Media should contact the ACC for details to access the Zoom.
