Jessica Beavers joined Duke Athletics in March of 2022 and serves as an assistant director of game operations, championships and events. In this role, Beavers is an event manager for the campus, varsity and outside events as well as assisting with football and basketball game day.
Beavers came to Duke from the University of Toledo where she served as the athletic events & operations manager. While at Toledo, she was responsible for managing revenue-producing special events and assisting with football and basketball game management, along with solely leading game operations for women’s soccer.Â
Beavers began her career as an intern for the athletic facilities department at Toledo in 2015. In 2017, she became the graduate assistant for the department prior to accepting a full-time role in 2019.

A native of Toledo, Ohio, Beavers graduated from the University of Toledo in May 2017 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She earned a master's degree with a concentration in leadership in May 2019.
