Ulysses Hall joined the Duke football staff in April 2026 and serves as the coordinator of high school relations.Â
Hall arrived in Durham after serving as the director of player and recruiting relations at Georgia Southern for two years. Prior to his time in Statesboro, Hall worked with the Washington Commanders of the NFL as a tight ends intern during OTAs and mini camp.
He was the defensive line coach at Oberlin College in 2023 and 2024. In 2022 and 2023, he was at John Carroll University as the defensive line coach/recruiting coordinator and held the same roles at Alderson Broaddus University in 2021 and Briar Cliff University in 2020.Â
Hall was at Trinity International University as the co-defensive coordinator/director of football operations in 2019 and 2020 and got his start in the college ranks at Ohio Wesleyan University, where he was the defensive line coach/assistant director of football operations from 2016-18.Â
He also has experience in the high school ranks of Georgia, coaching at Decatur High, Centennial High and Woodward Academy.
Hall graduated from Shaw University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in social psychology. He added earned a master's in education/coaching from Greenville University.
