Alaina McVeigh

Alaina McVeigh

Alaina McVeigh earned her second consecutive NFHCA All-America honor in 2024, being named to the second team after leading the Duke field hockey team offensively. She became the first Blue Devil to receive All-America accolades in back-to-back seasons since Margaux Paolino in 2018 and 2019.

McVeigh led Duke with 13 goals and two assists for 28 points, scoring in all but five games in which the Blue Devils found the net. The 2023 ACC Offensive Player of the Year tallied three multi-goal performances during the 2024 season and surpassed the 20-point mark for the second straight year.
