Pickens notched the game-winner on Friday night as she headed home freshman forward Gwendolyn Oxenham's (Gulf Breeze, Fla.) cross in the 83rd minute. Freshman goalkeeper Thora Helgadottir (Kopavagor, Iceland) has been solid in the nets for Duke as she posts a perfect 5-0 record with a 0.66 goals allowed average.
N.C. State is led by sophomore forward Laura Scott (6 goals) and freshman forward Lindsey Underwood (4 goals, 2 assists). The Wolfpack defense has been solid this year as they have only allowed 13 goals in 15 games, for a 0.83 goals allowed average.
