DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke women's soccer team travels to Chapel Hill on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. to face ACC rival and 2nd-ranked North Carolina at Fetzer Field.
Duke, which last won in 1994, will look to end their 13 match losing streak against the Tar Heels. The Blue Devils faced North Carolina twice last season, once in the regular season with a 3-1 loss and also in the the second round of the NCAA Tournament with a 2-0 loss.
Duke is 6-8-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, while the Tar Heels are 13-1-2 overall and 3-1 in the ACC.
Sophomore midfielder Casey McCluskey and freshman forward Carolyn Riggs lead the Blue Devils with eight goals and 17 points. Freshman midfielder Shelly Marshall leads the team with four assists. Duke is outshooting its opponents 238-128 and has 28 goals compared to 22 goals for opponents.
The game will be broadcasted on WCHL 1360 AM, the Tar Heel Sports Network.
