- Duke allowed a season-high 30 points in the first half and 62 points for the game.
- The Blue Devils won their second straight game against the No. 1 ranked team in the nation as Duke also defeated top-ranked Tennessee last year, 75-53, in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
- Duke has won 45 of the last 48 home ACC contests in Cameron Indoor Stadium and the Blue Devils have won seven in a row against the Terrapins at home.
- Duke's 6-0 record against ranked opponents is one of the best marks against ranked foes in the nation so far this season (minimum five games played) with Tennessee (6-1) right there with Duke.
- Four Blue Devils notched double-figures in scoring on the day.
- After scoring only 12 points over the last two games, senior Alison Bales' finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds for her first double-double of the season and eighth of her career. Both marks set new season-highs for Bales.
- Senior Lindsey Harding posted a career-high 28 points, pulled down a season-high eight rebounds and dished out four assists on the afternoon. It marked her 12th time this year, sixth out of the last seven contests and 10th out of the last 12 games she has posted double-digit scoring.
- With her seven blocks on the afternoon, Alison Bales moved into 12th place on the NCAA all-time blocks list with 370.
- Wanisha Smith collected 15 points on the day to go along with five rebounds and two assists. She scored in double-figures for the second time over the last six games.
- Junior Emily Waner went 1-of-3 from three-point land on the day extending her consecutive games with three-pointer to 13. She finished with three points and two assists and four steals in 18 minutes.
- The contest marked the seventh sellout in school history in the 9,314-seat Cameron Indoor Stadium for a women's basketball game.
- Duke led 41-30 at the half and has now led at the half in each of the 18 games.
- Duke held Maryland to 37.8 percent shooting from the floor and 16.7 percent shooting from three-point range. No Blue Devil opponent has shot over 40 percent from the field this season.
- Duke will next travel to N.C. State on Thursday, Jan. 18 for a 7:00 PM tip.
