• Playing in front of family and friends in St. Thomas, freshman Karima Christmas came off the bench and scored six points in the first half during a key run for the Blue Devils. She finished the game with eight points, four rebounds and one steal in a career-high tying 18 minutes.
• Chante Black scored all 13 of her points in the second half as she hit 6-of-9 field goals on the night.
• Senior Wanisha Smith scored five points and is now one away from registering her 1,000th career point. She owns 999 in 109 career games.
• Duke improved to 3-0 all-time against Temple.
• Duke allowed a season-high 53 points on the night.
• The Blue Devils improved to 5-0 all-time in games played in the Paradise Jam. Duke will play for the championship on Sunday, just like it did in 2002 when the Blue Devils knocked off Arkansas.
• Sophomore Joy Cheek made her first career start on the night. She totaled six points, two rebounds and one steal in 19 minutes.
• Duke won its 14th straight game at a tropical destination dating back the last nine years.
• The Blue Devils won their 19th consecutive game in the month of November.
• The Blue Devils started their fifth straight different starting lineup of the season in five games -- Wanisha Smith, Chante Black, Brittany Mitch, Joy Cheek and Keturah Jackson.
• Junior Carrem Gay scored a season-high seven points in the first half and went on to finish the game with 13 points and 12 rebounds in 24 minutes. The double-double was the first of the season and second of her career. Gay had started 37 straight games until today when she came off the bench.
• Duke held a 48-24 points in the paint advantage.
• In the first half, Duke registered 25 points off the bench out of 32 total. Temple only had three points off the bench. The Blue Devils finished with a 37-9 points off the bench advantage.
• Freshman Jasmine Thomas registered her second straight double-figure scoring game of the season with 11 points. She also had three assists, three rebounds, two blocks and one steal in a season-high 30 minutes.
• Duke was outrebounded for the first time this season, 42-41.
• Junior Abby Waner missed her fourth straight game with an ankle injury. She is listed as day-to-day and could play on Sunday in the final game of the Paradise Jam.
• Duke will next take on either Old Dominion, Stanford or Connecticut in the Paradise Jam on Sunday, Nov. 25 at 8:30 p.m. (Eastern).
