All five Blue Devil starters registered double-figure scoring on the night for the first time this season. It was the first time Duke has posted five players with double-figure scoring in a game.
Duke continued its school record home court winning streak of 21 games. The Blue Devils have also won 26 straight games against non-conference opponents at home and won 73 consecutive home games against unranked opponents.
Abby Waner collected double-figure scoring for the third straight and fourth out of the last five games as she finished with 16 points. She hit 3-of-8 from downtown for the game, while dishing out four assists and notching four steals.
Wanisha Smith had three assists on the night giving her 428 in her career, which ties Georgia Schweitzer for fifth on Duke's all-time assist list.
After getting outrebounded in five out of the last seven games, Duke held a 57-32 board advantage on the night. In the first half, Duke had 17 offensive rebounds, while Bucknell had 16 total rebounds. Duke had a season-high 33 offensive rebounds.
Joy Cheek continued her stellar offensive play as she registered double-figure scoring for the third straight game with a career-high 19 points. She also grabbed a season-high 19 points. Her nine field goals made were a career high.
Duke registered over 20 assists for the second consecutive and third time this season with its 25 on the night. The 25 ties a season high for the second straight game.
With her eight three-pointers attempted in the game, Abby Waner sixth place on Duke's all-time three-pointers made list with 370.
Chante Black collected 19 points and eight rebounds . It marked the 10th time out of 12 games she has posted double-figure scoring. She also pulled down eight rebounds and dished out five assists, which tied a career high.
Duke held a 58-10 points in the paint advantage for the game.
Freshman Karima Christmas registered a career-high five steals. Her previous high was two.
Abby Waner moved into 10th place on Duke's all-time steals list with her four swipes on the night. She now owns 173 and moved past Georgia Schweitzer (171).
After going 1-of-9 shooting in her return on Tuesday versus Utah Valley from missing four games with a hand injury, senior Wanisha Smith hit three out of her first four shots and finished with nine points in the first half. She went on to close the game with 11 points, three assists, three rebounds and two steals. It marked the first time this season she has scored double-figures.
For the second straight game, Duke forced over 30 turnovers as the Blue Devils made Bucknell commit 32 turnovers in the game.
Freshman Jasmine Thomas broke a string of three straight games without scoring double-figures as she totaled 12 for the contest. She hit 5-of-7 for the game, while also dishing four assists and grabbing five rebounds in 23 minutes. Duke committed 12 turnovers for the game, which was the second-lowest of the season (11 vs. Temple is season low). The Blue Devils scored 40 points off Bucknell's turnovers.
For the second consecutive game, Duke had 20 or more steals as the Blue Devils had 20 on the night.
Freshman Krystal Thomas missed her fifth straight game with a knee injury.
Duke will next head home for Christmas break and will return to campus on Dec. 26 for practice. The Blue Devils will then travel to Houston for a Dec. 28 contest at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern).
