Duke Places 10 Wrestlers On All-ACC Academic Team

DURHAM, N.C. ? Ten Blue Devil wrestlers were named to the 2008 All-ACC Academic Wrestling Team, announced today by league commissioner John D. Swofford. That number led all ACC schools, with the second most coming at Maryland with three.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
At the head of the list for the Blue Devils, who matched a school record with 12 dual meet victories this past season, were 2007-08 Wrestler of the Week honorees John Barone and Ben Wales along with upperclassmen Kellan McKeon and Addison Nuding, who combined to post 54 wins last season.
