Duke Basketball Holiday Toy Drive Begins This Week

DURHAM, N.C. - As the holiday season approaches, Duke Athletics has once again
joined together with several local charities to help spread the holiday
joy to children in Durham and the surrounding areas. Duke Athletics
will host toy drives in Cameron Indoor Stadium for Men's Basketball on
December 7 and December 19, while Women's Basketball toy drives will
take place on December 11 and December 20.
Men's Basketball Toy Drive:
Spread a little holiday cheer this winter with Whole Foods Market and Zach's Toy Chest! Simply bring a new, unwrapped toy to Cameron Indoor Stadium on either December 7 or December 19 when the Duke Men's Basketball team takes on Colorado St. and UNC Greensboro. All donations will be enjoyed by young patients at Duke Children's Hospital this holiday season and throughout the year. With every toy donation made at the Whole Foods Market display located in the Hall of Honor in Cameron, you will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 Whole Foods Market Gift Card. In addition, there will also be toy drop-off bins located throughout Cameron Indoor Stadium. Women's Basketball Toy Drive:
The Duke Women's Basketball team will also host Toys for Tots games
when they take on USC Upstate on December 11 and UNC Wilmington on
December 20. At either game, any fan who donates a new unwrapped toy
can purchase a general admission ticket for only $3! All toys will be
donated to the Durham Rescue Mission for children to enjoy this holiday
season. Collection bins will be set up throughout Cameron and the
discounted tickets will be sold at the blue ticket booth located outside
