Setting the Scene ...
Coming off an impressive 92-72 victory over Oklahoma Wednesday, the 13th-ranked Duke women's basketball team (6-3) will host UMass Lowell Friday, Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The game will be aired live on the Blue Devil Network via www.GoDuke.com. It will also be carried live on the Blue Devil IMG Sports Network on WDNC-AM 620, 99.3 FM and 96.5 FM with Steve Barnes (PXP) and Morgan Patrick (Color) on the air.
Duke played its first game in nine days Wednesday against Oklahoma and is in the middle of a three-game home stretch before heading home for Christmas. The Blue Devils are actually playing three games in a five-day period.
At Friday's game, the Blue Devils will be accepting toys for the Duke Children's Hospital. Below are items the hospital can use year round - UNO Cards, markers, action figures, wooden puzzles, science kits, sketch pads, lightweight rattles, nerf basketball hoops, Fischer Price medical kits, play-doh and board books.
