Duke on the Glass• The Blue Devils outrebounded the Phoenix, 53-30, marking the ninth game this season Duke hauled in more rebounds than its opponent. Duke improved to 9-0 on the year when outrebounding its opponent.
• Duke's rebound margin of 23 is the second-highest of the season for the Blue Devils.
• The Blue Devils brought down a season-high 35 defensive rebounds, besting the previous season high of 33 which came against Georgia Southern Dec. 15.
Duke's Defense• Duke forced Elon into committing 12 turnovers, the ninth game this season a Blue Devil opponent turned the ball over 10 or more times in a game.
Duke on the Offensive End• The Blue Devils dished 17 assists, including a season-high 10 in the first half. Duke's 17 assists tied for the second-most of the season.

Marshall Plumlee posted his second double-double of the season and the third of his career after collecting 11 rebounds and scoring 10 points.
Fresh Faces• Freshman
Brandon Ingram tied a season-high with 26 points and brought down 11 rebounds to mark his second double-double of the season. Ingram became the second Blue Devil this year to score 20 points in the opening half of a game after Allen accomplished the same feat in the season-opener against Siena.
• Three Duke freshmen scored in double-digits (Ingram-26, Kennard-18, Thornton-12), marking the second game this season three freshmen scored 10-or-more points in a game.
• Duke freshmen accounted for 58.1 percent (61 points) of Duke's total points on the night.
