· Broke a three-game losing streak
· Moved to 18-10 overall and 7-7 in the ACC
· Improved the all-time series record to 24-2 against the Hokies
· Is now 11-1 in games played in Blacksburg, Va.
· Coach P moved to 15-2 against Virginia Tech
· Improved to 4-6 on the road this season
Redshirt Sophomore Rebecca Greenwell
· Scored 15 points and had nine rebounds
· Had 13 of her 15 points in the second half
· Snapped a nine-game streak of hitting a three-pointer (0-of-4)
Sophomore Azurá Stevens
· Missed her fifth straight game with a left foot injury
Freshman Angela Salvadores
· Had 10 points, four rebounds and four assists
· Dished all four assists in the first half
Freshman Kyra Lambert
· Hit the go-ahead jumper with 1:03 remaining, which was her only points of the game
Junior Oderah Chidom
· Totaled 16 points and 11 rebounds in 38 minutes
· Swatted three shots and had four assists
· Notched her second double-double of the season and fifth of her career
· Reached double-digit scoring in three out of the last four games
Freshman Faith Suggs
· Hit a career-high two three-pointers in the first half
· Hit her first three-pointer since Jan. 21 at Clemson
· Finished with six points
Other Duke Notes…
· Held a 40-24 advantage in rebounding
· The Blue Devils hit 50.0 percent of their field goals
· Had 22 turnovers and Virginia Tech scored 29 points off those giveaways
· Held the Hokies to 37.1 percent shooting
· Trailed at the half for the fourth straight game (2-10 this season)
· Will next host Georgia Tech Sunday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. It will mark senior day for Mercedes Riggs in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
