HAMPTON, Va. – Redshirt freshman
Mason Eaglin registered his 14th overall win of the year but it wasn't enough as Duke wrestling fell 48-3 to Pennsylvania on the final day of the Virginia Duals.
Eaglin improves to 14-6 overall and 3-4 in duals after this weekend's win. The Port Orchard, Wash., native took down Penn's Neil Antrassian by an 8-6 decision for the Blue Devils' only points of the match.
Duke was already down 18-0 before the match even started due to forfeits at 125, 165 and HWT.
The Blue Devils will make their way out to the west coast as they prepare to face off against Fresno State (Jan. 17) and CSU Bakersfield (Jan. 19).
