DURHAM – The Duke wrestling program (6-7, 0-2 ACC) is back in action this weekend, traveling to Blacksburg, Va., for a match against No. 10 Virginia Tech (6-3, 1-1 ACC) on Friday at 7 p.m.

Friday Night Duals lineup and will be broadcast on ACC Network.

Josh Finesilver nearly pulling off one of the biggest wins of his collegiate career. Finesilver took the undefeated, No. 3 ranked Tariq Wilson down to the wire, before falling in a 4-3 decision. The match was Wilson's closest of the season.

OPPONENT HISTORY
- The Blue Devils and Hokies will clash for the 46th time, with Virginia Tech holding a 32-13 lead in the all-time series.
- The two teams last met on Jan. 29, 2021, when the Hokies scored a 42-3 victory.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- Both Finesilver brothers carry national rankings via InterMat, with Josh checking in at No. 14 in the nation at 149 pounds, while Matt ranks No. 15 in the 174-pound weight class.
- Redshirt senior Matt Finesilver is looking to secure his place in the top-10 all-time winning percentages at Duke. The Greenwood Village, Colo., native owns a career record of 71-21 (.772), which currently ranks in a statistical tie for sixth on Duke's all-time list with Bradd Weber.
- Much like last weekend against NC State, the Finesilver brothers will have top-15 matchups this Friday. Matt Finesilver is set to face his second-straight top-five opponent, this time matching up with the undefeated, No. 3 Mekhi Lewis.
- Josh Finesilver also faces a top-five opponent, meeting No. 5 Bryce Andonian. Finesilver is facing his fifth straight ranked opponent, after splitting the previous four matches with a 2-2 record.
- Both Finesilver brothers recently passed the 70-win threshold. Josh is now two away from 75, while Matt stands at 71 career victories.
- Redshirt senior Kaden Russell is closing in on 40 career victories. The Cleveland, Ohio, native stands at 37 in his career.
- The Blue Devils are set to face a ranked opponent for the third straight match, after back-to-back duals against No. 18 North Carolina and No. 5 NC State. It's the fourth ranked team faced by the Blue Devils this season, after they also met No. 20 Purdue on Nov. 21.
