RESULTS

DURHAM – Duke wrestling fell 35-4 to Central Michigan on Thursday night in its home-opening dual in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Senior Jonah Niesenbaum earned the Blue Devils' lone points after securing a 11-3 major decision win over Bryan Caves. The Allentown, Pa., native scored takedowns at the end of all three periods to help his cause.
Redshirt junior Patrick Rowland and redshirt senior Brayden Ray each put up tough battles against their Chippewas opponents but fell just short. Rowland dropped a 6-5 decision while Ray fell 3-1 in sudden victory.
Redshirt senior Gabe Dinette made his season debut for the Blue Devils but fell in a 10-2 major decision to Tracy Hubbard.

UP NEXT
The Blue Devils are back in Cameron Indoor Stadium on Friday, hosting North Carolina in a 7 p.m. matchup.
