Down 3-0 at the end of the first period, Barket came away with a takedown in the second frame and forced a fall over Horne to close the dual match. The win marks Barket's team-leading 15th victory of the season.

Jarred Papcsy captured his first ACC win as a Blue Devil against NC State's Koy Buesgens. This marked Papcsy's first encounter with the Wolfpack since joining the Blue Devils' program in the 2022-23 season, after graduating from NCSU. The victory was his fifth win of the year.
