DURHAM -Â Duke swimming and diving kicks off their championship season as they travel to the Greensboro Aquatic Center on Tuesday, February 18
th, for the 2024-25 ACC Championships.
Last season the Blue Devils' women finished in fifth place with a program record of 779.5 points, while the men nabbed a 10

NOTEABLES
- At their meet against Tennessee, Kaelyn Gridley crushed school records by finishing with a time of 58.60 in the 100-meter breaststroke and 2:06.10 in the 200-meter breaststroke, touching first for both.
- Ali Pfaff and Molly Donlan took the first and second podium spots in the 100-meter backstroke, with Pfaff's record-breaking time of 51.60 and Donlan touching at 53.88.
- The Blue Devil men swept the podium for the 100-meter breaststroke, with Kalen Anbar touching first (54.87), Jack Smith touching second (54.99), and Andrew Li touching third (55.61).
- In competition against Georgia Tech, Tatum Wall set a school record in the 100-meter freestyle for the women's team, finishing in 47.65 seconds to claim first in the event.
- Charles Berman secured first in the three-meter dive event for the men's team, scoring 326.20 points.
- Also on the men's side, Yugo Tsukikawa and Michael Jiang tallied podium finishes in the 400 IM, as Tsukikawa touched with a time of 3:56.51 and Jiang with a time of 3:59.38.
- Duke senior swimmer Amaya Hanley was named the grand prize winner of the 2024 Go Teach Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway on January 22nd, earning a total of $12,500 in tuition support.
