RALEIGH, N.C. – Duke track and field turned in a solid weekend of competition in its first meet of the 2025 outdoor season as the Blue Devils posted 10 top-five program marks, six event wins and a dozen podium finishes across three days of action at the Raleigh Relays.
TOP PERFORMANCES:
	- Phillips Moore set the tone for the weekend, with the freshman notching a personal-best performance in the men's shot put en route to collecting the first Blue Devil win of the meet. Stepping into the cage for his third attempt, Moore launched the weight 17.96m (58-11.25 feet), nearly six inches further than the runner-up, slotting himself No. 4 all-time in program lore in the process.
- Friday saw sophomore Michael Scherk and junior Lauren Tolbert run their way into the Duke record books via personal-best showings in the men's 100m hurdles and women's 400m, respectively.

- Forte came through with his best jump on the second attempt, flying out to a monster PR of 7.77m (25-6 feet) to match his No. 3 all-time program mark. Gomm slotted herself No. 3 all-time via a personal-best 57.12 seconds, narrowly edging out classmate Aliya Garozzo, who finished runner-up and moved into No. 4 in Duke lore with a finish of 57.16 seconds.
- Christian Toro opened the Saturday slate of events with a runner-up finish in the men's hammer throw and etched his spot in the Blue Devil history books. The sophomore turned in his best toss of the competition on his second attempt and launched the hammer 69.47m (227-11 feet), improving his No. 3 Duke mark in the process.
- Rookie Andres Langston and Taylor rounded out the group of Blue Devils to post top-five program marks. Taylor earned his second top-five program mark of the weekend, this one coming in the men's 200m, after sprinting 21.06 seconds – tied for fourth all-time at Duke.
