CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Following a phenomenal performance in the men's decathlon at the Mt. SAC Relays this past weekend, Duke track and field senior
Max Forte has been named the ACC Men's Field Performer of the Week.

Forte parlayed a personal-best effort into a spot on the Duke men's decathlon charts, with the senior posting 7,813 points – No. 2 in the NCAA – en route to placing fourth overall and moving into No. 2 all-time at Duke. He notched four top-five finishes across the multis event, headlined by a runner-up showing in the 100m dash (10.60 seconds) and a fourth-place finish in the long jump via a mark of 7.41m (24-3.75 feet).

Duke enters the final stretch of the outdoor regular season, with the Blue Devils set to feature a split squad next week. Several members of the team head to the City of Brotherly Love for the Penn Relays (April 24-26) while others make the trek to the Queen City to take part in Charlotte Invitational (April 25-26).
