DURHAM, N.C. – Duke track and field prepares to open the 2025-26 season this weekend, with the Blue Devils splitting up into two groups to kick off the indoor campaign. Several members of the team will head to Lynchburg, Virginia, to take part in the Liberty Kick-Off (Dec. 4-5) while others make the trip up north for the BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener (Dec. 6) in Boston.

WHAT TO KNOW:
- A. Morris Williams, Jr. Track & Field Director Shawn Wilbourn enters his sixth season at the helm of the program.
- Duke looks to build off a formidable 2024-25 indoor season that saw the men's and women's team combine for 10 school records and 34 top-five program marks.
- The Blue Devils return several key performers from a season ago, including United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Americans Braelyn Baker, Michael Bennett, Mia Edim, Meredith Sims, Lauren Tolbert, Christian Toro and Gemma Tutton.
- Duke also brings back All-ACC performers Aden Bandukwala, Ewan Bradley, Max Forte, Elise Heddens, Jonathan Horn, Julia Jackson, Valerie Jirak, Andres Langston, Julia Magliaro, Shaolin Munir, Allison Neiders and Matthew Prebola.
- Action at the Liberty Kick-Off opens for the Blue Devils Thursday evening with the women's long jump at 5:00 p.m. On Friday, Duke gets the day started with men's 60-meter hurdle prelims (10:30 a.m.) with field events getting underway at noon via the women's high jump.
- Duke commences competition at the BU Season Opener Saturday morning. Teams will hit the track for the women's 60-meter hurdles (9:45 a.m.) before field events get going with the women's high jump at 11 a.m.

Duke resumes indoor competition after the holiday break. The Blue Devils will ring in the New Year in Winston-Salem, taking part in the JDL Mondo College Invitational set for Jan. 17.
