DURHAM, N.C. – Duke track and field capped the regular season in style, with the team posting seven event wins, including three event sweeps, Sunday at the Duke Twilight.

The Blue Devils featured four-place finishes by the women and three by the men, notching victories in the men's and women's 4x100-meter relays, men's and women's 400-meter hurdles, men's and women's pole vault and women's 100 meters. Overall, Duke totaled 18 podium finishes and recorded a handful of top-five program marks on the day.
TOP PERFORMANCES:
- Duke kicked off the track events with a bang as the Blue Devils swept the men's and women's 4x100 behind season bests from both squads.
- The women's quartet of junior Mia Edim, sophomore Maya Collins, senior Gianna Locci and sophomore Braelyn Baker breezed to a finish of 43.58. On the men's side, the relay of junior Michael Scherk and graduate students Colin O'Malley, Liam O'Hara and Quinton Godfrey hit the tape in 39.67. Both times checked in at No. 2 all-time in program lore.
- Baker and Andres Langston secured another event sweep for Duke with the sophomore tandem earning first-place finishes in the women's and men's 400 hurdles. Langston improved his No. 2 all-time Duke mark with a personal-best and facility-record time of 49.88, while Baker crossed the line in 56.05.
- The Blue Devils went 1-2 in the women's 100 meters behind outstanding races from Collins and Edim, with the pair turning in the fastest performances of their respective collegiate careers. Edim collected the win and slotted herself atop the Duke charts with a dash of 11.17, while Collins clocked 11.20 – No. 2 in program history – to finish runner-up.
- Senior Allison Neiders and junior Gemma Tutton impressed in the women's pole vault en route to securing another 1-2 finish for Duke. Tutton notched the win via a clearance of 4.40m (14-5.25 feet) while Neiders finished as the runner-up, vaulting 4.20m (13-9.25 feet).
- Sophomore TJ Rowan pushed Duke's win total to seven on the day with a victory in the men's pole vault behind a clearance of 5.10m (16-8.75 feet).
- Duke finished runner-up in the women's 4x400-meter relay, as the foursome of freshmen Taylor Aska and Arabella Wilson, sophomore Amber Wimbish and graduate student Bailey Goggans hit the tape in 3:35.05.
- Over in the men's 4x400, the Duke quartet of graduate student Michael Bennett, Godfrey, Langston and O'Hara posted a season-best time of 3:06.80 – good for third overall and No. 4 all-time on the Duke charts.
- Collins and Edim nabbed their third top-three placements of the day, with these coming in the women's 200. Collins broke through onto the Blue Devil charts with a personal-best and second-place time of 23.00, narrowly edging out Edim who finished third with a career best of 23.01.
- Graduate student John Fay and junior Christian Toro got the Blue Devils off to a strong start, earning the first two podium finishes of the day with solid outings in the men's hammer throw. Toro threw 66.01m (216-7 feet) to place second while Fay took third with a mark of 63.06m (206-11 feet).
- Toro earned a third-place finish in the men's shot put, with the sophomore producing a season-best throw of 17.51m (57-5.50 feet).
- Locci and sophomore Shaolin Munir turned in a pair of third-place performances for the women's field events. Locci came through with her best leap on her final attempt as she flew out to 6.11m (20-0.50 feet), while Munir registered her furthest mark of 45.81m (150-3 feet) on her opening throw.
- Sophomore Aden Bandukwala turned in a personal best and improved his own school record in the men's 800 meters, crossing the line in 1:46.63 to place fourth overall.
- Goggans secured her spot on the Duke all-time list with a personal-best showing in the women's 800 meters, clocking 2:02.07 (fifth place) to slot herself fifth in program lore.
- Graduate student Stephanie Moss delivered the fastest 1500-meter time of her career, running 4:14.99 to stake her claim to the No. 5 all-time spot on the Blue Devil charts.
