DURHAM, N.C. – Following an accomplished regular season, Duke track and field turns its attention to the postseason, starting this weekend with the ACC Outdoor Championships. The conference meet, hosted by Louisville, will take place May 14-16 at Owsley B. Frazier Cardinal Park in Louisville, Kentucky.

HOW TO FOLLOW:
COMPETITION SCHEDULE
- Thursday opens with the men's decathlon (11 a.m.) and women's heptathlon (11:45 a.m.). The women's javelin (12 p.m.) kickstarts the afternoon slate, while track events start with the men's 400-meter hurdle prelims at 5 p.m.
- Decathlon and heptathlon action resumes Friday morning at 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., respectively. Field events begin at 3:30 p.m. with the men's shot put, while the men's 110-meter hurdle prelims (5 p.m.) jumpstart the track events.
- On Saturday, the men's discus (2 p.m.) commences the remainder of the field events, while the men's 4x100-meter relay gets an exciting and jam-packed track slate going at 4 p.m.

WHAT TO KNOW:
- Duke's women currently rank 17th in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Week 5 poll. The Blue Devils debuted at No. 3 in the first poll of the outdoor season (Mar. 31), marking the highest in-season ranking in program lore.
- In the EventSquad rankings, the Blue Devil women are currently first in the 800 meters, second in the 3000-meter steeplechase and ninth in the 200 meters.
- Three Blue Devils combined to earn four ACC Outdoor Performer of the Week awards – Braelyn Baker (2), Mia Edim and Matthew Prebola.
- Duke features eight student-athletes currently ranked in the top 25 in their respective events: Braelyn Baker (7th – 400mH; 8th – 400m), Michael Bennett (16th – decathlon), Bailey Goggans (21st – 800m), Philip Kastner (20th – decathlon), Andres Langston (14th – 400mH), Matthew Prebola (25th – javelin), Lauren Tolbert (1st – 800m; 17th – 400m) and Gemma Tutton (12th – pole vault).
- Both Blue Devil women's relays also rank in the top 25, with the 4x400m ranked 18th and the 4x100m 23rd.

A LOOK BACK AT THE 2025 ACC OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS:
- History was made for Duke as the Blue Devil men parlayed a phenomenal day of competition into their first ACC Championship – indoor or outdoor – in program history.
- Duke's men culminated the three-day conference meet with a strong final day of competition, totaling 29 points while earning medals in the 200 meters, 400 meters and 4x400-meter relay. The squad finished the weekend with 86 points to lock down the first-place finish.
- The Blue Devil women also competed well, with the team medaling in four events – the 200, 400, 4x100-meter relay and 4x400 – en route to finishing fifth overall with 72 points.
- Overall, Duke concluded the 2025 ACC Outdoor Championships with titles in the men's hammer throw, men's pole vault and women's 4x400m), 14 total medals and 33 All-ACC honors.
