CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Seven Duke men's basketball student-athletes have been named to the 2024-25 All-ACC Academic Men's Basketball Team, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday.
Representing the Blue Devils on this year's All-ACC Academic Team are two-time honorees junior
Tyrese Proctor and sophomore
Caleb Foster, along with graduate students
Mason Gillis and
Sion James, and freshmen
Cooper Flagg,
Kon Knueppel and
Khaman Maluach.
The Blue Devils now boast 120 all-time All-ACC Academic picks, more than any other school in the conference. This marks the 31st consecutive season Duke has had at least one selection to the All-ACC Academic Team.Â
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
In addition to All-ACC Academic honors, Foster and James were announced to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, while James garnered
CSC Academic All-America® Second Team recognition.
