DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's golf program will feature six Blue Devils, including three members of the 2025-26 roster, competing at the 2025 U.S. Women's Open, which will take place May 29 through June 1 at Erin Hills in Erin, Wisc.

Katie Li and incoming freshman
Rianne Malixi, while Duke graduates
Celine Boutier,
Lindy Duncan and
Leona Maguire will also compete.
The three golfers from the 2025-26 roster are the most by any NCAA Division I program with no other team featuring more than one. Duke's six golfers competing are tied with Stanford for the most nationally as well.
Li, who hails from Basking Ridge, N.J., qualified for the second year in a row and will compete for the second time in her career. A year ago, Li posted rounds of 73 and 77 as she missed the cut.
Smith qualified for the U.S. Women's Open for the first time in her career after totaling rounds of 67 and 74 for a 3-under, 141, at the Duke Golf Club in Durham.
After winning the 2024 U.S. Women's Amateur, Malixi earned the automatic invitation to the U.S. Women's Open. Malixi, a native of Manila, Philippines, will make her first appearance in the tournament. She is currently ranked No. 5 in the Women's World Amateur Ranking (WAGR).
Duncan, a 2013 Blue Devil graduate, will see action in her seventh U.S. Women's Open and the first since 2023. She has made the cut in five straight appearances with a career-best finish in 2013 at Sebonack Golf Club with a tied for 15th ledger. Duncan is having her best season as a professional with three top-11 finishes, including a runner-up placement at The Chevron Championship. Duncan has earned $2,451,854 on the tour since turning professional.
Seeing action in her ninth U.S. Women's Open, Boutier has made the cut in five of those events, including a tied for fifth placement in 2019 at the Country Club of Charleston. She has made the cut in each of the last four appearances, placing tied for 34th, tied for 35th, tied for 45th and tied for 58th, respectively. Boutier owns six LPGA victories over her professional career and has won over $8.2 million in earnings.
Maguire will compete in her seventh U.S. Women's Open and registered a tied for eighth ledger three years ago in Pinehurst. She owns two victories and 21 top-10 finishes over her career on tour, while earning $4,877,698 in money on the LPGA.

Fans will be able to watch the action on NBC, USA Network and Peacock with more than 26 hours of coverage. On Thursday and Friday, tune in from 11-5 p.m., on USA and 5-7 p.m., on Peacock. Saturday's play will be aired from 12-2 p.m., on USA and 2-5 p.m., on NBC. Sunday's final round will be shown from 1-6 p.m., on NBC.
Boutier and Malixi will get things started Thursday at 8:29 a.m. (ET) and 8:40 a.m. (ET) off hole No. 10. Smith (9:13 a.m.), Li (3:20 p.m.), Maguire (2:14 p.m.) and Duncan (2:36 p.m.) round out the Blue Devil contingent.
