COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Duke women's basketball incoming freshman Emilee Skinner was announced as one of 27 athletes selected to participate in the 2025 USA Basketball Women's U19 National Team trials, USA Basketball announced on Thursday.
Trials are slated to begin June 18 with the final 12-member roster expected to be announced following trials. The team will travel to Brno, Czechia, for the 2025 FIBA U19 Women's World Cup from July 12-20. Athletes attending trials were selected by the USA Basketball Women's Junior National Team Committee, chaired by UCLA women's basketball head coach Cori Close.
Skinner is no stranger to USA Basketball, having won gold as a member of the 2024 USA Women's U17 National Team that competed at the FIBA U17 Women's World Cup. The Millville, Utah standout also competed on the 2025 USA Women's Nike Hoop Summit team putting up 13 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals en route to the United States' 90-78 dub over the World Select team.
Ranked No. 4 in the espnW 2025 Class, Skinner is coming off a stellar season that saw her average 26.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 3.7 steals and 1.5 blocks during her senior campaign, while spearheading Ridgeline to an unblemished 28-0 record and its third straight Class 4A crown.
