For the first time this season, No. 3 Duke (2-0) will hit the road as the Blue Devils travel to eighth-ranked Arkansas (1-1-1) Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. (ET).
Thursday's contest will be aired live on SECN+ with Brett Dolan (PXP) and Kelly Roliard (Color) calling the action.
The Blue Devils moved to No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll last week, after defeating No. 11 Penn State, 3-2 in the opener. Duke dropped to No. 3 this week.Â
Duke will face two ranked opponents (No. 11 Penn State & No. 8 Arkansas in two out of the first three matches).
Following the Arkansas match, Duke will close non-conference action by hosting Creighton (Aug. 31), VMI (Sept. 4) and Alabama (Sept. 7).Â
All of the Blue Devils' home matches will be aired on either ACC Network, ESPNU or ACC Network Extra.
First year head coach Kieran Hall has kicked off his career with the Blue Devils with a 2-0 ledger.
Duke scored a goal in the first half in 19 out of 22 matches in 2024, including nine out of the final 10 contests. Dating back to last season, the Blue Devils have scored a goal in the first half in 11 out of the last 12 matches.
 STORYLINES/OTHER BLUE DEVIL NOTES
Kat Rader and Mia Minestrellahave opened the season with two goals and two assists for six points to lead Duke.
Over the last four years, Duke features a 14-2 record in the month of August.
Duke has featured a multiple goal scorer in each of the first two matches for only the fourth time in program history -- 2024, 2015, 2008 and 1997.
The Blue Devils opened the season with only two matches the first two weeks of the year.
Duke featured three players on the United Soccer Coaches watch lists -- Cameron Roller (Defenders), Mia Oliaro(Midfielders) and Kat Rader (Forwards).
The Blue Devils will play five out their first six matches at home in 2025 with the lone road match at Arkansas.
Mia Oliaro has scored a goal or registered an assist in 13 of the past 17 matches. In 44 contests in college, when she nets a point in a game her team is undefeated (17-0).Â
The Blue Devils return seven starters from a season ago. Duke also welcomes back three of its top four scorers from a season ago – Mia Minestrella (12 goals, 7 assists), Mia Oliaro (8 goals, 13 assists) and Devin Lynch (7 goals, 10 assists) – and six of their top nine scorers from 2024 – Cameron Roller (4 goals, 4 assists), Carina Lageyre (two goals, 6 assists) and Farrah Walters (3 goals, 3 assists).
Following the 2024 campaign, five Duke players signed professional contracts in the NWSL -- Hannah Bebar (Bay FC), Leah Freeman (Bay FC), Maggie Graham (Houston Dash), Ella Hase (Racing Louisville FC) and Mary Long (Kansas City Current).Â
 THE SERIES WITH ARKANSAS
Duke and Arkansas will meet for the sixth time in program history with the Blue Devils leading the series, 3-1-1.
The two teams last met on Aug. 19, 2021 in Durham with Duke totaling a 3-1 victory.
In the only meeting in Fayetteville, Ark., the Razorbacks posted a 2-1 win on Aug. 26, 2016.Â
 SCOUTING ARKANSAS
Arkansas enters the match with a 1-1-1 ledger and is coming off a 2-0 victory over Georgia Southern on Sunday.
Six different Razorbacks have scored on the season and Arkansas has scored two goals in all three matches.
It will mark the Razorbacks fourth home match in a row to open the season.
 DUKE VERSUS THE SEC
Duke holds a record of 45-21-9 against SEC schools. The Blue Devils last faced a SEC school in 2024 as Duke defeated Missouri, 7-0, in Durham.

 VARIOUS BLUE DEVIL TIDBITS
Redshirt junior Kat Rader tied a career high with two assists against Penn State and junior Mia Oliaro also tied a career high with two assists in her first start of the season against Northwestern.
Duke's 28 shots against Penn State were tied for the sixth-most in a season opener in program history -- 39 vs. Buffalo (1989), 36 vs. Gardner-Webb in 2009, 35 vs. Fresno State (2015), 34 vs. Catawba in 2000, 31 vs. Wake Forest in 1995 and tied with Campbell from 2003.
The Blue Devils have scored two or more goals in 24 of the 38 season openers.
Of Duke's 25 student-athletes on the 2025 roster, a total of 11 of those are from the state of California.Â
Mia Minestrella has scored 12 of her 14 career goals at home inside Koskinen Stadium.
Kat Radernow owns 10 career game-winning goals, which ranks tied for eighth on Duke's all-time charts.

Duke moved to 2-0 on the season with a 3-0 shutout against Northwestern on Aug. 21 in Durham.
Kat Rader tallied two goals, while Mia Oliaro added two assists on the night.
Freshman Avery Oder scored for the second straight contest, becoming just the eighth Blue Devil to tally goals in each of her first two collegiate matches.
Rader notched her 10th career game-winning goal and third career multi-goal performance.Â
Duke held a 14-4 advantage in shots with Mia Minestrellaleading the way with five.Â
Sophomore Caroline Dysartmade her first collegiate start and played the entire 90 minutes. She notched one save and a shutout.Â

 IMPRESSIVE FRESHMAN...
Avery Oder has turned in an impressive start to her rookie Blue Devil career with goals in her opening two matches.Â
She became the 19th Blue Devil freshman to score a goal in her first collegiate start and the first since Michelle Cooper in 2021.
Oder is one of only eight Duke players to notch goals in their first two collegiate starts.Â
She opened her Duke career with a bang against Penn State by registering a goal 3:20 into play.Â
Oder's goal at the 3:20 mark of the first half was the fifth-quickest goal to open a season in Blue Devil history. It was the second-quickest tally by a Duke freshman in program history.
Oder was the No. 6 overall recruit in the 2025 class.
 DYSART NETS SHUTOUT IN FIRST START
Sophomore Caroline Dysart made her first collegiate start against Northwestern and registered a shutout and victory in the outing.
Dysart made an impressive save in the second half to keep the Wildcats off the board.Â
In 135 minutes played on the season, Dysart has not allowed a goal and posted two saves.Â
