DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's lacrosse attack
Eva Pronti has been added to the 2026 Tewaaraton Award Watch List as the Tewaaraton Foundation unveiled the second round of additions to the list Thursday afternoon.
The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse players in the United States. Selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation. Pronti joins teammate
Bella Goodwin, who was on the initial Tewaaraton Award Watch List that was announced in February.
A product of Rochester, New York, Pronti has been a key piece to the Duke offense this season. The redshirt junior has started all 12 games for the Blue Devils and leads the squad with 55 points on 17 goals and a team-best 38 assists. Her 38 helpers account for nearly 38 percent of the Duke assists on the year, with the total currently ranking second in the ACC and third in the NCAA.
Pronti has tallied two or more assists nine times this season and owns six games with four-plus dimes, most recently dishing out a season high of six in the win at Elon earlier this week. She has produced at least three points in 10 of the Blue Devils' 12 games, including a season-best eight against the Phoenix. On the scoring front, Pronti has produced six multi-goal games thus far – headlined by her first career hat trick Mar. 4 versus Boston College.
Overall, Pronti has accumulated 34 goals, 96 assists and 130 career points through 48 games as a Blue Devil. She is on pace to join the list of 25 other Duke players with 150 or more career points. Pronti needs just two more helpers to move into a tie for third all-time on the program charts and sits four away from becoming just the third Blue Devil in program lore to tally 100-plus assists.
Duke, ranked No. 16, returns to conference action to close out its three-game road trip, traveling to Tallahassee, Florida, to face ACC newcomer Florida State Sunday, Mar. 29. Opening draw is set for noon, with the game streaming live on ACCNX.
