No. 15 Blue Devils Travel to Tennessee for Rocky Top Invitational

DURHAM, N.C. – No. 15 Duke rowing is set to compete in the second annual Rocky Top Invitational on Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Blue Devils' Third Varsity Eight will open the action Friday afternoon at 3 p.m.

The Blue Devils will race five boats against No. 5 Tennessee, No. 14 Pennsylvania, No. 17 Alabama, No. 24 USC, No. 25 UCLA, Clemson, Iowa and Minnesota.

Twelve heats will take place on Friday, beginning at 3 p.m. Semifinals will begin on Saturday morning starting at 8 a.m., followed by finals beginning at 11:54 a.m. Saturday morning's semifinals will be seeded based on results from Friday's heats.

There will be two finals heats in each race. The top final will feature the top two from each semifinal and the next fastest boat, while the consolation final will have the remaining crews.
