Duke Finishes Seventh at ACC Rowing Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. – No. 13 Duke rowing wrapped up postseason competition after two days of racing in the 2026 ACC Championships on Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, N.C. The Blue Devils collected 69 points throughout the championship regatta to finish seventh overall in the team standings.

The Blue Devils' Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight crews advanced to grand final races, while the Third Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four competed in the petite finals.

Seniors Chloe Zollman and Lena Mills were recognized for their individual performances, garnering all-conference honors for the second and third times in their careers, respectively. Zollman was named to the second team while Mills was tabbed to the third team.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Third Varsity Eight opened the final day of competition with a fourth-place finish in the petite final, crossing the finish line in 7:02.590.
The Blue Devils' Second Varsity Four crew of coxswain Ava Liebmann, Allister Wolff, Signe Marthinsson, Caroline Kulka and Mikaela Voinov claimed first in their petite final race, clocking a time of 7:30.350, finishing over eight seconds ahead of the second-place crew from SMU.
In the following race, the Varsity Four posted the winning-time of 7:24.790, racing past crews from Miami, Boston College, SMU, Louisville and Clemson in the petite final.
After securing their spots in the grand final races, Duke's Second Varsity Eight and Varsity Eight closed out the competition with back-to-back sixth-place finishes, clocking times of 6:41.390 and 6:33.260, respectively.
