CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Duke senior
Maliq Brown has earned distinction on the 2025-26 All-ACC Academic Men's Basketball Team, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday.
Brown, a native of Culpeper, Virginia, majors in African and African American Studies and is among 18 honorees representing 10 conference institutions.
The Blue Devils now boast 121 all-time All-ACC Academic honorees, the most of any school in the conference. This marks the 32nd consecutive season Duke has had at least one selection to the All-ACC Academic Team.
Beginning in 2025-26, the ACC updated its selection criteria, limiting nominations to undergraduate student-athletes who have completed at least one academic year (two semesters or three quarters) at their institution, maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher - including a 3.00 GPA over the most recent academic term - and competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
