DURHAM, N.C. – Duke head football coach Manny Diaz announced Wednesday that wide receiver Blake Rohrer, a 2025 NCAA Division III national champion, has signed a financial aid agreement to attend the institution and join the Blue Devil gridiron program.
The 6-3, 211-pound Rohrer played in 24 games with two starts for Wisconsin River Falls the past three years. He helped the Falcons to a combined record of 28-7 and the 2025 NCAA Division III title with a 24-14 victory against North Central. Â
The 2025 First Team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) selection caught 59 passes for a league-high 1,161 yards. He added a WIAC-best 12 touchdowns. His receiving yardage and TD total set Wisconsin River Falls single-season records. He ranked third on the team and tied for fifth in the WIAC in receptions. Rohrer tallied a WIAC-best 84-yard reception against Wisconsin Platteville.Â
In the 2025 season, Rohrer caught four or more passes in eight games, six or more four times and a year-high nine versus Johns Hopkins in the NCAA Tournament semifinals. Rohrer posted five 100-yard performances with a career-best 236 yards against Johns Hopkins. He added a personal-best three touchdowns versus Johns Hopkins.
Rohrer, a Woodbury, Minnesota, native, will have one season of eligibility remaining beginning with the 2026 campaign.
As a sophomore in 2024, Rohrer appeared in eight games, hauling in 13 passes for 171 yards (13.15) and one touchdown. His freshman year in 2023, he experienced action in one game and did not record any statistics.
During his career, Rohrer has totaled 72 receptions for 1,332 yards (18.50) and 13 touchdowns.Â
